How verification works
Our promise is narrow and deliberate: nothing publishes automatically. Below is exactly what happens between a seller pressing submit and a buyer seeing the listing.
1. Submission
The seller completes a guided form: item details, condition and defects, price, location, multi-angle photos, and a photo of the item with their unique verification code. Supporting documents can be attached privately.
2. Review
A verifier checks that details, photos and documents agree with each other. Pricing plausibility, duplicate content and prohibited-item terms are screened, and a risk level is recorded.
3. Verification decision
The outcome is approved, returned for more information, or rejected. Every decision is stored with the verifier, timestamp, notes and the specific checks performed.
4. Publishing
Only approved listings are published, each carrying its verification date and expiry. Verification can be revoked at any time if new information or reports appear.
What verification does not mean
Verification is a documented review of the listing and its evidence at a point in time. It is not a warranty, an inspection of internal components, or a guarantee about the outcome of your transaction. Always meet safely and confirm the item before paying.
